Tributes to the Late Marc Garneau – June 5, 2025
Members of Parliament pay tribute to the late Marc Garneau, the first Canadian astronaut to travel to space and a former minister in the cabinet of Justin Trudeau. Garneau died June 4, 2025, at the age of 76. Delivering tributes are government House leader Steven MacKinnon, Conservative MP Gérard Deltell, Bloc Québécois MP Rhéal Fortin, NDP interim leader Don Davies, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, and Speaker Francis Scarpaleggia.
